Robert has been diagnosed with severe ME since 1992. For most of that time his has been bedbound or housebound. After more than ten years of being disabled by illness he bought himself a stairlift and an electric wheechair to enable him to access the garden at his parents' home in Balcombe, West Sussex, where he lives. When he is well enough to be outside he enjoys sitting among the flowers photographing bees. The sale of his photographs is part of his aim to raise 10,000 for ME Research UK. For more details see
